EV charging in Noida

Noida and Greater Noida have some of NCR's newest charging infrastructure, concentrated around the expressway office corridor and the sector malls. Find a station below.

Noida's charging network is younger than Delhi's and, because the city was planned, more logically distributed. Growth has come from private operators rather than public schemes: Statiq is headquartered in the region and has dense coverage, joined by Tata Power and ChargeZone at commercial sites. The Noida–Greater Noida Expressway corridor has attracted most of the DC fast-charging investment, since it combines office density with the land needed for high-power installations. Uttar Pradesh's EV policy has supported deployment, and newer sectors have charging built into commercial developments from the start.

Charging stations by city in Delhi NCR

Noida sits within Delhi NCR. If you drive across the region, these neighbouring city pages carry their own station lists: EV charging stations in Delhi NCR, EV charging stations in Delhi, EV charging stations in Gurugram, EV charging stations in Ghaziabad, EV charging stations in Faridabad.

Where to find chargers in Noida

Sector 18 and the Atta Market area form the retail cluster with the most public points. The expressway-facing sectors — 125, 126, 132 and 135 — carry chargers tied to IT parks and corporate campuses. The larger malls (DLF Mall of India in Sector 18, and the Sector 38A complex) have basement charging. Greater Noida and the Pari Chowk area are thinner but growing fast, particularly around the newer institutional and residential developments. Sector 62 and 63 serve the older office belt on the Delhi side.

Use the search box above to jump straight to any of these areas — Sector 18, Sector 62, Sector 125, Sector 132 and more are listed, and you can also search any address or pincode in Noida. Each station shows its operator, connector types, maximum power, last reported status and a directions link, so you can confirm a charger suits your vehicle before driving to it.

Charging an electric scooter or bike in Noida

Two-wheelers are the largest EV segment in Noida, and they charge differently from cars. An electric scooter draws far less power, so a standard 5A or 15A domestic socket is usually enough for an overnight charge — which is why most scooter owners rarely use public chargers at all. Where public charging matters is for riders who cannot charge where they park, and for delivery riders who need to top up mid-shift.

For those riders, three options exist in Noida: AC points on the map above (many work for scooters with the right connector), Ather Grid fast-charging points aimed at two-wheelers, and battery swapping from networks such as Battery Smart, Bounce and Sun Mobility, which replace a drained pack in about two minutes rather than charging it. Swapping has grown fastest among gig riders precisely because downtime costs them income. If you ride for a living, see our guide to electric scooters for delivery riders and consider a model with a removable battery.

What charging costs in Noida

Public charging is priced per unit of electricity. Expect roughly ₹15–25 per kWh at DC fast chargers and ₹8–15 at AC points, and note that advertised rates are usually exclusive of 18% GST — so a charger quoting ₹18/kWh actually bills around ₹21.24. Charging at home on a domestic tariff of ₹6–10 per unit is dramatically cheaper, which is why owners with home charging treat public networks as a top-up rather than a primary supply. Compare networks on our EV charging companies comparison, or model your own costs with the EV vs petrol calculator.

Driving out of Noida: highway corridors

Noida sits on the Yamuna Expressway, the best-equipped highway out of NCR, making Agra and Mathura straightforward EV drives with fast chargers at the main service plazas. The Noida–Greater Noida Expressway itself has good coverage. Heading east towards Lucknow on the Purvanchal Expressway, coverage thins considerably, so a full charge before departure is the sensible approach.

For any intercity drive, plan the whole corridor rather than searching city by city. The EV route planner maps your route, lists every charger along it in travel order with the gap between each one, and flags any stretch longer than your vehicle's real-world range — which is the number that actually decides whether a trip is comfortable.

Owning an EV in Noida

Noida's EV ownership skews towards IT professionals with predictable commutes and, crucially, towards residents of newer apartment complexes where developers have been more willing to permit charge-point installation than older RWAs elsewhere in NCR. That makes home charging more achievable here than in central Delhi, shifting public charging towards a top-up and road-trip role. Uttar Pradesh's road-tax exemption for EVs applies, improving the on-road price advantage over Delhi-registered vehicles in some cases.

Whether public charging is a convenience or a necessity depends largely on your parking. If you can charge at home overnight, public charging becomes a top-up and road-trip tool. If you park on the street or in a shared lot, weight charger availability near home and work heavily when choosing a vehicle, and consider a two-wheeler with a removable battery if that fits your use.

Checking whether a charger actually works

Across India a meaningful share of listed public chargers are non-functional at any given time, and Noida is no exception — broken connectors, offline payment systems, blocked bays and unpowered units are all common. Every station on this map shows its last reported status, and EV owners can report what they find on arrival, so you see community evidence rather than only a database entry. If you use a charger here, taking a moment to report it working or not working makes the map more reliable for the next driver in Noida.

Thinking of setting up a charging station in Noida?

Charger demand in Noida is growing faster than supply in several pockets, which is why a growing number of enquiries we receive are from site owners rather than drivers. If you have land, a shop, a fuel station or a parking facility in the city, our guide to setting up an EV charging station covers the investment, approvals, subsidies and site selection, and the ROI calculator models the payback for your specific numbers. Where can I charge an electric scooter or bike in Noida?+
Most electric scooter owners in Noida charge at home from a standard socket, since two-wheeler chargers draw far less power than car chargers. For public charging, Ather Grid points serve two-wheelers, and battery-swapping networks such as Battery Smart and Bounce operate swap stations aimed at delivery riders. Many AC points on the map above also work for scooters with the right adapter.
Is battery swapping available in Noida?+
Battery-swap stations from operators such as Battery Smart, Bounce and Sun Mobility are expanding across Indian cities, particularly for two- and three-wheeler fleets. They are not part of the standard charging database, so they don't appear on the map above — we're building a dedicated swap layer for scooter and delivery riders.
