EV charging in Gurugram

Gurugram has NCR's densest workplace charging, concentrated across Cyber City, Golf Course Road and the Sohna Road corridor. Find a working station below.

Gurugram's charging network grew out of its office economy rather than public policy. The corporate campuses of Cyber City and Udyog Vihar installed workplace charging early, and the malls followed, which is why the city has unusually good daytime coverage and comparatively thin residential coverage. Tata Power, Statiq and ChargeZone all compete here, and several premium hotels and office towers run their own points. Haryana's EV policy has supported manufacturing and infrastructure, though Gurugram's density owes more to private commercial investment than to government deployment.

Charging stations by city in Delhi NCR

Gurugram sits within Delhi NCR. If you drive across the region, these neighbouring city pages carry their own station lists: EV charging stations in Delhi NCR, EV charging stations in Delhi, EV charging stations in Noida, EV charging stations in Ghaziabad, EV charging stations in Faridabad.

Where to find chargers in Gurugram

Cyber City and Cyber Hub form the densest cluster, with chargers in most of the larger office basements. Golf Course Road and Golf Course Extension Road carry points at malls, hotels and premium residential complexes. The Sohna Road office corridor has grown quickly. MG Road and the older Sector 14 and 29 areas are served through mall parking, and Ambience Mall on the Delhi border is a reliable option. Manesar, further out on NH-48, has industrial and highway-adjacent charging.

Use the search box above to jump straight to any of these areas — Cyber City, Golf Course Road, Sohna Road, MG Road and more are listed, and you can also search any address or pincode in Gurugram. Each station shows its operator, connector types, maximum power, last reported status and a directions link, so you can confirm a charger suits your vehicle before driving to it.

Charging an electric scooter or bike in Gurugram

Two-wheelers are the largest EV segment in Gurugram, and they charge differently from cars. An electric scooter draws far less power, so a standard 5A or 15A domestic socket is usually enough for an overnight charge — which is why most scooter owners rarely use public chargers at all. Where public charging matters is for riders who cannot charge where they park, and for delivery riders who need to top up mid-shift.

For those riders, three options exist in Gurugram: AC points on the map above (many work for scooters with the right connector), Ather Grid fast-charging points aimed at two-wheelers, and battery swapping from networks such as Battery Smart, Bounce and Sun Mobility, which replace a drained pack in about two minutes rather than charging it. Swapping has grown fastest among gig riders precisely because downtime costs them income. If you ride for a living, see our guide to electric scooters for delivery riders and consider a model with a removable battery.

What charging costs in Gurugram

Public charging is priced per unit of electricity. Expect roughly ₹15–25 per kWh at DC fast chargers and ₹8–15 at AC points, and note that advertised rates are usually exclusive of 18% GST — so a charger quoting ₹18/kWh actually bills around ₹21.24. Charging at home on a domestic tariff of ₹6–10 per unit is dramatically cheaper, which is why owners with home charging treat public networks as a top-up rather than a primary supply. Compare networks on our EV charging companies comparison, or model your own costs with the EV vs petrol calculator.

Driving out of Gurugram: highway corridors

Gurugram sits directly on NH-48, the Delhi–Jaipur corridor, which is among the best-charger-covered highways in India — Rajasthan road trips are genuinely practical from here. The Dwarka Expressway has improved connectivity towards west Delhi. Heading south towards Sohna and Alwar, coverage drops off, so plan a stop before leaving the built-up area.

For any intercity drive, plan the whole corridor rather than searching city by city. The EV route planner maps your route, lists every charger along it in travel order with the gap between each one, and flags any stretch longer than your vehicle's real-world range — which is the number that actually decides whether a trip is comfortable.

Owning an EV in Gurugram

Gurugram has one of the highest concentrations of premium EVs in India, driven by corporate ownership and a buyer base that can absorb the purchase premium. Workplace charging is the defining feature: many owners here charge at the office rather than at home, which is the reverse of the pattern in most Indian cities. High-rise living means personal charge points often require building-management approval, and the newer condominium developments have been more accommodating than older ones.

Whether public charging is a convenience or a necessity depends largely on your parking. If you can charge at home overnight, public charging becomes a top-up and road-trip tool. If you park on the street or in a shared lot, weight charger availability near home and work heavily when choosing a vehicle, and consider a two-wheeler with a removable battery if that fits your use.

Checking whether a charger actually works

Across India a meaningful share of listed public chargers are non-functional at any given time, and Gurugram is no exception — broken connectors, offline payment systems, blocked bays and unpowered units are all common. Every station on this map shows its last reported status, and EV owners can report what they find on arrival, so you see community evidence rather than only a database entry. If you use a charger here, taking a moment to report it working or not working makes the map more reliable for the next driver in Gurugram.

Thinking of setting up a charging station in Gurugram?

Charger demand in Gurugram is growing faster than supply in several pockets, which is why a growing number of enquiries we receive are from site owners rather than drivers.
