Tata Motors has extended its aggressive electric-vehicle offers into July 2026. Buyers can claim benefits of up to ₹3.35 lakh across the carmaker's EV range this month — a mix of cash discounts, exchange and scrappage benefits, loyalty bonuses and additional incentives spread over the Tiago, Punch, Nexon, Curvv and Harrier EVs. Notably, the offers continue even after Tata's price hike of up to 1.5% from July 1.
How the July discounts break down
The biggest number sits on the pre-SeriesX Curvv EV: older variants carry benefits of up to ₹3.35 lakh, combining a ₹3 lakh cash discount with an exchange/scrappage bonus of up to ₹35,000. The current Curvv X variants get a far smaller ₹65,000 total. The flagship Tata Harrier EV is eligible for up to ₹2.75 lakh across all variants — an exchange/scrappage offer of up to ₹75,000, a ₹1 lakh loyalty bonus and a ₹1 lakh intervention benefit, with no straight cash discount. The pre-facelift Punch EV and Tiago EV both top out at ₹1.45 lakh, while the Nexon EV gets the smallest headline figure at up to ₹50,000.
Why the discounts continue
Tata still has stock of outgoing pre-facelift Tiago and Punch EVs and pre-SeriesX Curvv variants to clear, and the monsoon months are traditionally slow for showroom traffic. The discounts also cushion the July 1 price increase, and come as Tata defends a roughly 39% share of a market that just saw monthly EV sales cross 30,000 for the first time.
What buyers should check
The caveats haven't changed: benefits vary city to city, depend on stock, and the headline number assumes you qualify for every component — exchange or scrappage, loyalty and consumer offers together. A first-time buyer with nothing to trade in will see a much smaller figure. Ask the dealer for an itemised on-road quote, and remember the deepest discounts apply to outgoing variants, so weigh the saving against the newer model's updates.
The bottom line
If you were already shortlisting a Tata EV — especially a Curvv or Harrier — July remains a genuinely good window. Run the numbers with our EV EMI calculator, then compare the discounted Tata against rivals in our electric car catalog before you commit.
